As a condition of entering the Competition, each contestant grants the Tennessee Valley Old Time Fiddler's Convention and its successors the right to use the contestant's name, voice, likeness, and performance, and any portion thereof, without prior notice or compensation for any purpose and in any media now known or hereinafter devised. Such right shall be irrevocable, extend throughout the universe, and endure in perpetuity. Without limiting the generality of the preceding sentence, Tennessee Valley Old Time Fiddler's Convention shall own all rights, title, and interest in and to all performances, recordings, videos, and images rendered by contestants in connection with the Competition. Other than the prizes received by the winners, no contestant shall be entitled to receive any wages, benefits, fees, or other compensation whatsoever as a result of participating in the Competition. In exchange for his/her participation in the Competition, each contestant agrees to release and indemnify the Tennessee Valley Old Time Fiddler's Convention and the officers, directors, agents, parent companies, subsidiaries, and employees of each of the foregoing, from any and all claims, demands and/or causes of action of any nature or kind whatsoever, whether presently known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen, that arise out of the contestant's participation in the Competition.  I AGREE TO READ AND ABIDE BY THE CONTEST RULES.
